Crestron has seen tremendous growth over the last three years, and plans to hire 350 employees by the end of 2012. Crestron Founder and CEO, George Feldstein and Executive Vice President, Randy Klein recently spoke with CBS Evening News’ Senior Business & Economics Correspondent, Anthony Mason about the U.S. economy and job growth.
When asked by Mason if the company was still hiring, Feldstein proudly said, “Absolutely!” Crestron plans to increase its workforce by more than 10 percent.
Last week, Crestron took Mason and his crew on a tour of Crestron’s New Jersey Headquarters, housing manufacturing, research & development, and sales offices. Crestron leadership introduced CBS to employees, solutions, and the industry. Feldstein talked briefly about how the people make the company.
“The success and growth of our business wouldn’t be possible without great employees,” notes Feldstein. “We have the best employees on the planet, and they play a major role in our growth. We wouldn’t be here today without the hard work and dedication put forth by our entire team.”
Crestron managed to increase sales and workforce during the economic recession through strategic planning which included maintaining its workforce, challenging engineers to create new products, and finding new opportunities in digital media products and energy management solutions.
Today, Crestron employs more than 2,500 across 91 offices globally.
